A Tribute to Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.. What is Art? It is the response of man’s creative soul to the call of the real. An inspiring quote by none other than Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. We are delighted to share that the Primary learners at BVRTSE are a part of a magnificent celebration named as Vishwarang in which learners will get involved in a myriad of art works by Rabindranath Tagore. The week began by sharing awareness about Rabindranath Tagore’s life and his literary and other works of art. Details of his philosophy and his deep love for art and literature was shared with learners who were enthusiastically involved in knowing more about the first Indian to won Nobel Prize. The plays, books and his achievements were discussed where every learner was inspired by his influential work. The weeklong event attempts to involve the students in art pursuits and align this effort to bring about an integration with life works by Tagore. Here are the glimpses of the moments that captured the learners involved in inaugurating the event by reciting great poems by Gurudeva Rabindranath Tagore.
It’s never too early to begin exploring the world.”
As rightly said by Dr. Seuss " The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go." We at BVRTSE extend a heartfelt gratitude to all our dear parents who have taken great efforts to dress up the children in creative costumes for the Literacy Day celebrations. It was a pleasure to see characters such as astronauts, fairies, pirates, bees, community helpers and many more in their best creative attire. Children recited a poem, enacted their dialogues and made creative takeaways. Later they guided their parents to the Story Stations such as Gajapati Kulapati, The Caterpillar Shoes, The Mixed Up Chameleon, The Gruffalo and The Superworm.
Students and Parents played a word BINGO game, Sentence Structure and explored Literacy Stations such as Word Splat, Writing Progression through hands-on resources, Sensory Writing, Rainbow Writing, Feed the Monster, Read Write and Construct. We Thank our Parent volunteers who were Mystery Readers and took out time to visit the school to narrate multilingual stories or poems.
The engagements planned to encourage listening and communication skills, love for reading, making a habit of having Book Buddies. Children are also issued books from the Library for the weekend Reading. We continue to foster this endeavour to provide an enriching experience and give a book as a gift that can be opened again and again.

“A deep love for my grandfather”
We are delighted to share that Rajveer Suraj Babar who is a learner at BVRTSE is surely a budding writer in making. We are immensely happy to share that he has published his first book named “Unforgotten Memories of My Grandfather”. He has dedicated this book to his late grandfather and has penned down his beautiful memories with him. Filled with love and emotions there are many instances which we can relate with our own grandparents and the bond that we share with them. The unconditional love that they bestow upon us and always guiding us through thick and thin moments in our lives.
An interesting quote which was said by our little author’s grandfather – “Real Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without getting angry”. Surely this quote carries a deep meaning that we can imbibe in our lives.Rajveer mentions that his “Ajoba” which he use to call him fondly, has given him the best birthday gift ever- A Marathi story Book Neeru and her mango tree. He inspires us to be like Neeru – a small village girl and her act of planting a small mango seed which reaped benefits for years to come. We at BVRTSE wish Rajveer great success in his writing journey and congratulate on his getting his first book Published.
It’s never too early to begin exploring the world.”
