BVRTSE students went for their one more field trip to Reliance Mart, Aundh. On field trip students sharpen their skills of observation too. It was an exciting trip as the children not only recalled coming shopping with their parents but also had a first-hand experience of shopping. Each class had a different engagement as per their age group such as Nursery students visited the fruit and vegetable section and came back to school and made cucumber sandwiches, K I students visited the dairy products section and made monaco cheese toppings, KII students each child took Rs. 20 and browsed items that can be bought within and calculated the math for the change received at the store. A field trip for students is to reinforce experiential and contextual learning. It helps enhance critical thinking and extends opportunity for students to create connections, which will help them gain understanding and develop an enjoyment of learning. It was indeed an enjoyable as well as a learning trip, we could see it evidently in the reflection representations of our students.
