Back to school for 1st day of school

The first day of school was filled with excitement as we flagged off the Academic Year 2023-24!

Our amazing teachers planned an array of activities focused on team building, leadership skills, and fostering camaraderie among our students.

These activities set an optimistic tone for the year, fostering a strong sense of belonging among our students. We're thrilled to build on this positive start and provide a fulfilling and enjoyable learning experience for all.

International Yoga Day

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self - Bhagwat Gita

Yoga offers a haven of calm; it plays a key role in reducing anxiety and managing stress. It fosters the development of discipline and patience along with the improvement of strength, flexibility, and physical health. It connects us to ourselves and our planet, and the list of benefits is unending. To instill the importance of practicing yoga for well-being and health, International Yoga Day was celebrated impressively at BVRTSE. Students from all grades performed - pranayama, a few interesting asanas for improving concentration, mind-body balance, etc., with a lot of enthusiasm and curiosity, under the guidance of well-established yoga experts. The importance of every asana was explained while performing. It was an enlightening experience for all the learners. Our learners were introduced to the basics of yoga through fun and engaging activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Warm-up exercises were taken, and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas. The importance of the asanas was also explained simultaneously. The session ended with 'OM' chanting highlighting Dhyan Mudra and its importance.

Environment week

The annual Environment Week at BVRTSE was a resounding success, focusing on the crucial theme of ‘Solutions to Beat Plastic Pollution’. Students from all grades showcased their knowledge and passion for environmental conservation through a series of activities. The various activities conducted during the week emphasized the significance of reducing plastic consumption, promoting recycling, and embracing sustainable alternatives. By empowering the students with knowledge and encouraging responsible environmental practices, our school is fostering a generation that is committed to combating plastic pollution and preserving our planet for future generations. Students watched videos on various ways in which they can save the environment. They represented their thoughts by creatively drawing the same. “Best Out of Waste” activities were conducted wherein students showed their creativity by making piggy banks, pen stands, pencil stands, wind chimes and shopping paper bags. The shopping paper bags are used by the students as “Lost and Found” bags in their respective classes. Students also made posters on protecting the ocean and marine life. All students took the pledge to save the environment. It was a treat to see many young minds working towards spreading awareness for the greener earth. “Plans to protect air and water, wilderness and wildlife are in fact plans to protect man.” —Stewart Udall
