Character parade

Character Parade: As a part of the Literary week BVRTSE organised a Character Parade for the students. They all came dressed up in a costume portraying their favorite character from a story. It was as pleasure to see the characters come alive as they walked the pathway and clapped to encourage each other. A few students were able to explain who their character was, what story they were from, what aspects they found most interesting. Our heartfelt gratitude to Parents who have put in efforts to dress up the students and make this event a success!

Environment week, clay week and mud day celebrations

Environment Week: We celebrated Environmental Week wherein facilitators conducted various activities to make our young students aware about their roles and responsibilities for the Environment. They heard and sang Environment Songs and Stories and sowed seeds in recycled planters made by them and watered the plants everyday too. KI and KII were engaged in group discussion for a Mindmap to design and create a poster on Importance of Environment, Ways to recycle and become Eco Warriors.
Clay Week: Clay modelling is a versatile art form that encourages children to experiment with different shapes, textures, and colors. Watching a simple lump of clay transform into a beautiful, unique piece of art in the hands of a child is an amazing feeling. The possibilities are endless, as clay can be moulded into anything from animals and vehicles to abstract sculptures and decorative pieces. Preprimary students explored playdough for the week and made variety of clay work.
Mud Day: On the occasion of Mud Day we invited Mr. Shivaji Mane to do a hands-on Terracotta Clay session for the students to make Handprints Momento for Nursery students, K I A and B made Mud Pies and Mud Monsters and KII A and B made Clay fish.
We extend a heartfelt gratitude to our Parents to have taken out time and join us for a Gallery Walk and witness the students talk about the Environment Week and also show their Creative Displays.

Chocolate day

Chocolate Day: The need to educate little children on the health benefits and joys of indulging in chocolates goes without saying. The chocoholics at BVRTSE, Balewadi celebrated Chocolate Day on July 10th, 2023 in a scrumptious way. Through stories, the tiny tots learned that chocolates are made of milk, cocoa powder, and sugar, they were also taught about the health benefits of eating chocolates but in moderation, as excess can cause tooth decay. Students brought a chocolate item and had a great time relishing them with their friends.

Plantation drive 9-11

BVRTSE students of Grades 9-11, accompanied by the volunteers of the Vasundhara Foundation, embarked on a remarkable plantation drive at Tokai Hill, Baner. Despite the drizzle, they trekked to the hilltop, where they used heavy spades to dig reservoir-like structures for harvesting rainwater and planted saplings. The plantation drive proved to be a truly enriching and exhilarating experience for all. It sensitised our students to the immense impact they are capable of making. Our young changemakers are doing their bit to create a greener future. Let's continue to inspire and empower each other for a more sustainable tomorrow!

Breakfast date with teacher

“Eat your breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day!"

Breakfast is a great way to give the body the refueling it needs. Kids who eat breakfast tend to eat healthier overall. Students of Bharati Vidyapeeth Rabindranath Tagore School of Excellence enjoyed a nutritious breakfast day with teachers and friends on 30th June 2023. Students and teachers had fresh fruit, cereal, nuts and sandwiches. Students shared the importance of having a healthy breakfast. Their smiling faces tell the story of happiness. The breakfast date constructed and strengthened the bond between a guru and shishya which goes a long way in an effective teaching-learning process.
