Our young learners were delighted to present their class assembly in front of our Respected Principal Maam and faculty members on a very thoughtful topic “National Defence Day ”.
The assembly began with the greetings, local, global and sports news. This was followed by some interesting thoughts on the significance of our armed forces and how our soldiers are the lifeline of our nation.
The participants presented beautiful and heart touching facts with banners and discussed the sacrifices made by the soldiers. The complete audience were in awe and had goose bumps after seeing the performances by our young learners.
Their peers were proud to be a part of the event that gave them a platform to represent and share their ideas about a beautiful topic. The assembly ended with the distribution of SOF Olympiad certificates and medals from the previous year examination. Below are the glimpses of the same:
EVA LOYA from Grade 1 is surely our little Science explorer and its evident from her presentation on Space Exploration. The topic that she presented was creative and had a great touch of imagination.
Eva has decided to explore our Space in her Rocketship. During her journey she visits the planet and sees the wonderful world of space consisting of the Sun, Asteroid belt, the black hole, galaxies, and eventually wanders off to her destination planet. We are very delighted to see the passion she exudates in her project work. We wish her all the best for her future science exploration.
"Hindi hamaree shaan hai, Hindi hamaree jaan hai", on this note a special assembly to celebrate the Hindi Diwas was conducted by the students of Grade I and II at BVRTSE. Our young learners recited a beautiful poem on Hindi Diwas to share the importance and beauty of the Hindi language. There was a powerful message delivered through Hadbadi Mein Gadbadi Natak which highlighted the importance of learning our official language. A mirthful dance performance by twirling dancers on the fusion of the 'Des Rangila' song filled the air with a spirit of joy. The Principal, Ms. Jumana Gari encouraged the students to take pride in learning the Hindi language.
The start of the Engineers Day has culminated into a rich experiential DIY Week.It was a hands- on learning experience as children were involved in a range of experiments and exploration using loose parts. Children explored creating shapes using sticks and also made Shape Sun Catchers, some experimented building tall towers using paper cups, and some tried to balance the blocks and manipulatives with their engineering skills.
Other children put their designing skills to make Origami Paper Planes and also create 2 D and 3 D shapes using toothpicks and clay. It was a pleasure to see them delighted to take home Pattern spinners and Balloon rockets on a Zipline. Special Thanks to Mr. Shivaji Mane, to come and do a session for preprimary children showing them a variety of DIY experiments using recycled material and creative media.
It was a special day as we celebrated 100 days of school for the academic year 2022-23.
