Pune, India Bharati Vidyapeeth Rabindranath Tagore School of Excellence (BVRTSE), Pune, recently concluded its eagerly awaited Annual Day celebrations, delivering a remarkable display of talent and artistic prowess. Over the span of four enchanting evenings, the school’s turf came alive with melodious tunes and captivating performances curatedCby its students in collaboration with ACE Productons, Shiamak Davar Dance School, and Torrins School of Music. BVRTSE is a school affiliated to Cambridge International Education, catering to the learning needs of students in the age group of 3 to 17.
The school offers the Cambridge Primary Programme, Lower Secondary Programme, IGCSE and AS and A Levels all under one roof, with the sole aim of providing a futuristic education to students. The schools propounds a philosophy of a student life that aims at inculcating Cambridge Learner Attributes. The Annual Concert symbolises the the coming together of all the curricular, co curricular learnings, in a grand showcase of talent and prowess. The concerts began with a solemn tribute to the school’s visionary founder, Late Dr. Patangrao Kadam, for his remarkable vision and mission, setting the stage for the grandeur that ensued. The festivities commenced on the 15th of April 2024, as the students from Pre-Primary and Grade 1 whisked audiences away into the enchanting world of "Alice in Wonderland". The concert was graced by the esteemed presence of Aditya Tapadia and Sneha Tapadia, owners of the Jumpstart Group of Schools. Following suit on the 16th of April, Primary Grades 2 and 4 enthralled spectators with their mesmerising portrayal of the epic saga, "Ramayana". The evening was further elevated by a captivating performance from the Junior School Band, leaving the audience spellbound. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of luminaries from the Bharati Vidyapeeth Family, including Chairperson Bharati Vidyapeeth Schools, Hon. Smt. Vijaymala Kadam, Chancellor of Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Hon Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam, Chairperson BVRTSE Mrs. Swapnali Vishwajeet Kadam, Joint Director, Defence Estates, Govt. of India, Ministry of defence, Dr. Rajendra Jagtap, Executive Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical Foundation, Dr. Asmita Jagtap, Joint Secretary Bharati Vidyapeeth, Dr. M. Sagare, Asst. Director Bharati Vidyapeeth Schools, Ms. Sheetal Tak, and Mr. Santosh Salian, among other dignitaries. Continuing the magical journey on the subsequent day, Primary Grades 3 and 5 took centre stage with their captivating rendition of "Aladdin", weaving a tale of adventure and wonder. The concert was honoured by the presence of Ms Anju Deoskar Director - Admissions Outreach FLAME University, PUNE. The Junior School Band captivated the audience with their musical finesse, adding an extra layer of charm to the evening. Culminating the festivities on the 18th of April, students of Lower Secondary, IG, AS/A levels presented an ethereal rendition of the timeless classic, "The Sound of Music". The guest of honour for this concert was Manisha Sanghvi Chairperson Sancheti Healthcare Academy. Nostalgic moments were created when students spun the audience with their meldoius renditions of ‘The Hills are Alive…’ ‘ High on the Hills…’ and ‘Raindrops on Roses…’. The story of love, war and familial ties truly captivated the audience. The evening was complemented by the electrifying performance of the school band, "High Street", which left the audience awestruck. Principal Ms. Jumana Gari, along with dedicated section heads and teachers, stood at the helm, ensuring the seamless execution of this grand extravaganza. The Annual Day celebrations of Bharati Vidyapeeth Rabindranath Tagore School of Excellence stand not only as a testament to the boundless talent within its student body but also as a celebration of the collaborative spirit that defines the school community.
