Mathalathon


“What is mathematics? It is only a systematic effort of solving puzzles posed by nature.” Mathalathon is a thrilling math quiz designed to engage and challenge learners, fostering a love for mathematics. The event comprised two rounds – the Primary round and the Final round, bringing together learners from different divisions to showcase their mathematical powers. The Primary round serves as a platform for participants to demonstrate their foundational knowledge and advance to the next level. The finalists emerging victorious from the Primary round, move on to the Final Round. Here, the challenges become more intricate, requiring a high level of mathematical acumen. The Final round promises not only intense competition but also an opportunity for participants to showcase their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations. This interdivisional showdown adds a dynamic element, promoting collaboration and friendly competition among diverse groups of participants. Mathalathon aims to instil a lifelong love for mathematics, encouraging them to explore the endless possibilities that this field has to offer.

“Shiv Jayanti, the birth anniversary of the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.” :-
On 19th February 2024, BVRTSE School Assembly echoed with the spirit of valor and patriotism as the school gathered to commemorate Shiv Jayanti, the birth anniversary of the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The school assembly served as a platform for staff and learners across all grades to pay homage to this iconic warrior who played a pivotal role in shaping India's history. The assembly kicked off with a solemn tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, where the entire school community observed a moment of silence in honor of his indomitable spirit and contributions to the nation.

The school's commitment to fostering a sense of pride and respect for our historical heroes was evident as students and teachers alike came together to celebrate this significant occasion. The highlight of the assembly was a thoughtfully crafted short film that depicted the life, courage, and remarkable contributions of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film showcased his strategic brilliance, leadership qualities, and his unwavering commitment to the freedom of the people. Students were captivated by the visuals that brought to life the historical events surrounding Shivaji Maharaj, emphasizing the values of bravery and patriotism. Our school's principal Ms. Jumana Gari, in a heartfelt address, expressed gratitude for Shivaji Maharaj's profound message to the world - that no one can oppress India. The principal emphasized the importance of imbibing the values of courage and resilience in the face of adversity, drawing inspiration from the warrior king's life. As the assembly drew to a close, the entire school community stood united in offering a collective salute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, acknowledging his bravery and valor that continues to inspire generations. The celebration served as a reminder to all present that we are indebted to Shivaji Maharaj for his enduring legacy and the timeless message he left for the whole world – that India shall never bow down to oppression. In commemorating Shiv Jayanti, BVRTSE School not only paid homage to a historical figure but also instilled in its learners a sense of pride and responsibility towards their nation, carrying forward the spirit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for generations to come. .



Marathi Bhasha Din :-


“Marathi Bhasha Din :-
John D. Rockefeller Jr. On Marathi Bhasha Divas also known as ‘Marathi Language Day’ we celebrate a richness and importance of the Marathi language. Marathi Bhasha Divas is observed on February 27th each year to honour the Marathi language, its literature and its cultural significance. It has a rich literary heritage with eminent poets, writers and playwrights who have made immense contributions to Marathi literature. On this day various cultural programs, poetic recitations, songs are organized to promote the language.It is an opportunity for people to come together to celebrate and appreciate the beauty of Marathi language and its cultural significance. At Bharati Vidyapeeth Rabindranath Tagore School of Excellence, Marathi Divas was celebrated with full zest and zeal, and enthusiasm on February 27, 2024. The day showcased the vibrant culture of Maharashtra, bringing joy and pride to our school community. Our young BVRTSE’ians of Grades 1 and 2 sang cheerful songs like "Sang-Sang Bhola Nath," making the event musical. Grade 3 transported us through time with portrayals of iconic figures like Shivaji Maharaj, Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and Savitri Bai Phule, in their vibrant costumes and memorable dialogues. Grade 4 mesmerised everyone with their ecstatic dance performance to the song "Hi Jama Bhumi Hi Karm Bhumi" in their colourful outfits, lively moves, and props, making it super fun and exciting for everyone! The fifth graders deeply moved us with a beautiful version of 'Hich Amuchi Prarthana,' a special prayer that shares the dreams and wishes of every person from Maharashtra. It made us all feel connected and devoted. Grade 6 students sang a melodious song || Labhle aamhas bhagya bolto marathi || followed by Grade 7 group Dance, song || Vitthal Vitthal || Last but not the least, our hardworking superstars, our housekeeping staff, who keep our school running smoothly, our backend support, our helping hands, sang the song 'Jay Jay Maharashtra Maza, Garja Maharashtra Maza.' They made us all feel the love for our state. The affinity towards the Marathi language and the importance of the language was seen amongst the children. In this special assembly, we not only celebrated Marathi Divas but also witnessed the essence of Maharashtra through the eyes of our talented students and dedicated housekeeping staff. May the spirit of unity and cultural pride continue to resonate within us, fostering a deep connection to our roots. Jay Jay Maharashtra! .
