Field Trip - Children's Traffic Park Children’s Traffic Park is a park where children can learn the rules to be followed on the road. In line with the current theme an excursion to the Traffic Park was organized for the pre-primary students with the purpose of introducing basic road safety rules. The Traffic Park was equipped with traffic signals, road signs and road crossings helping them learn about the various aspects of road safety in a play way method. They got a chance to cross the road independently, steadily making it to the other side by watching the signal carefully. They learnt the safety measures to be adopted by citizens to keep themselves safe on the roads. They walked on the Zebra crossing, learnt how vehicles are to be parked only at the P - Parking sign. They saw the license plate, followed one way walking as they explored the Traffic Park. It was not only fun for the children but also a great learning experience and a refreshing mix of education and entertainment rightly called edutainment!
